NM State Women Release 18-Game CUSA Schedule
We are back.
Thank you for reading AGGREGATOR, the People’s Champ in Aggies News, where I like to have fun talking about the team we all like.
I did a column on the fly yesterday after it was communicated to me that the release of the WBB schedule yesterday was an internal error.
Since no other CUSA team did it yesterday, I believed that. CUSA usually releases the schedule as a whole and all the schools share their teams schedule in a separate post. So I played coy a bit while we all waited to get the green light!
At 10am this morning, that finally happened so here I am again with a follow-up to yesterday!
First let me remind you that AGGREGATOR is a reader-supported column. If you love your Aggies, you will LOVE reading about them in a unique way. Substack is my platform, Aggies are my team, and Writing about them is my love.
$5 a month supports this independent journalist and gets you a couple hundred articles a year written by a local for a local entity. Or if you like annual, about 10 cents a day will get you a nice discount.
I also launched a new column called “FORMERLY PROBLEMATIC”
It’s a personal blog about life and thoughts in my 40s.
It’s not for everyone, but if you like humor and deep thinking and fun conversations about life from the eyes of a 42yo man, then check it out.

NMSU Women’s Basketball is so back: Releases 18-Game CUSA Schedule
This is what I got yesterday afternoon:
This had the whole CUSA schedule for Coach Jody Adams and her squad. Like the graphic, but in light of triple checking everything, including when to release the schedule, the graphic says “2025 CUSA Schedule” which is not correct as all these games will be contested in 2026. Oops.
So couple the year error with the fact that they were not supposed to release it yesterday meant I had to wait a little bit to post the full schedule. I had this column ready, and then I saw them post it again… Here it is, the non-bootleg women’s schedule
Oh, cool, they added 2025-26 on there. Nice.
Ooh, but they also added an extra S and removed an N from “Kennesaw State”
Kenessaw State is wrong. But the games will remain the same date against that squad. :)
Here’s the full home schedule for CUSA:
🏠 NM State Home Conference Games – 2025–26 Season

Another split opponent from 2024–25 closes out the home slate.
Bonus: Men’s CUSA Schedule Released!
20 Game Conference Schedule which means 10 home games for conference, which also means less games potentially against lower division school this year, though a NMHU game is being talked about for end of December…
Anyway, a BIG bonus with the bigger conference schedule: CONFERENCE PLAY STARTS BEFORE CHRISTMAS!!!!
Before the players go home for the holiday, Hooten and the boys will play his old school Sam Houston and Coach Chris Mudge on December 21st here at Pan Am.
Also of note, the normal Thu/Sat CUSA schedule is more flexible this season, with a pair of Wednesday home games
January 28th against Delaware making their first ever appearance at Pan Am as a CUSA member
February 11th against Liberty
Last game of the season at home (Senior Day) is March 7th against Kennesaw (not Kenessaw) State. As mentioned, it is rumored that there will be some early start times on Saturday games. Stay tuned on that.
Here are the home contests:

One of two final home games in the regular season.Mar 7 vs Jacksonville State (Jax State)
Senior Day weekend closes out the 20-game slate.
Rest of the schedule should be coming in the next month or so. It was reported by a source at ACU that the Aggies may be headed to Abilene for the tail end of a home-and-home started last season here at Pan Am. November 15th against UNM is in the books as well. So we are awaiting just 10 more games to be scheduled including likely a MTE somewhere.
One final thing. Hooten will only be playing his former team one time this season in SHSU, and La Tech will only be a one game series too.
I am so excited. Hoop Time is almost here!
The final part is for paid subscribers. I will see you folks that signed up for free soon. Thank you for reading, and if you are ever interested in bonus material, please sign up today below
