Aggie Volleyball Full Schedule + WBB CUSA Schedule Was Out (Until it Wasn't) + MBB Home Games Rumor
Saturday Brunch and Basketball Possible?
Hello All!
I want to take the time as always to thank you for reading AGGREGATOR, where over 4,000 of you are signed up, many of you pitching in for a few bucks here and there. You have allowed me to make this a job, and I thank you for that. If I entertain you in any way, please consider $5 a month or about 10 cents a day for annual for the best Aggies column out there.
I am once again nominated BECAUSE of you for the Bulletin’s Best. I will wait to push for votes until I make the 5 finalists in each category, and more importantly, I have some great things happening everywhere.
But also, check out
, my personal column about my outlook at life on 40. I tell some fun stories and give my opinions and advice that I have developed since I am entering middle-age. I am having a lot of fun, and I needed an outlet to talk the way I talk. It’s not for everyone, so reader discretion advised
This is one about the lack of communication between parents and kids, and I will have one up today about lack of confidence in young men and how it ties to an AI Generated Photo phenomenon. It will be a lot of fun.
Again, it’s not for everyone, but check it out if you’d like something entertaining to read, and please subscribe FOR FREE!
I WILL HAVE A PAYWALLED POST ABOUT NM STATE FOOTBALL COMING EITHER TONIGHT OR TOMORROW!
I was going to include it in this one but the Women’s Basketball schedule unexpectedly dropped so that was notable for men’s basketball as well. More on that below.
Let’s Get to It:
Women’s Volleyball Schedule Drops.
Coming off a 23-9 season and a second straight trip to the CUSA Championship match, NM State Volleyball returns with a loaded 2025 slate — including 10 home matches at the Pan American Center.
One of the most notable things on the schedule this year is the lack of Volleyball Powerhouse WKU on the Schedule. Because of expansion of teams in CUSA, the Aggies will not have to play the Hilltoppers who have not lost a conference game since 2018. No, I am not kidding. They have won at least 72 in a row in conference play. A remarkable run the Aggies will skirt in the regular season.
Liberty and FIU are not on the schedule either.
Here’s the home dates
🏠 HOME OPENER
New Haven (Who are making their D1 debut) – Sept. 12 & 13
RIVALRY GAME
New Mexico Lobos – Sept. 17
The Conference USA home slate begins in October, starting with a key showdown:
Sam Houston – Oct. 3 & 4
UTEP – Oct. 10 & 11 (rematch of 2024 CUSA semifinal)
Middle Tennessee – Oct. 24 & 25
Kennesaw State (Senior Day) – Nov. 14 & 15
The regular season wraps with the CUSA Championship, Nov. 21–23 in Miami.
Notably absent from this year’s schedule: WKU, FIU, and Liberty, due to expanded league play.
2025 NM State Volleyball – Road, Neutral Site & Tournament Schedule
ROAD & TOURNAMENT MATCHES
The Aggies hit the road early and often in 2025, with five multi-match weekends and stops in California, Illinois, Oklahoma, and across Conference USA play.
UC San Diego Invitational (La Jolla, CA – Aug. 29–30)
vs. Eastern Washington (Neutral)
vs. Northwestern (Neutral)
at UC San Diego
Saluki Bash (Carbondale, IL – Sept. 5–6)
at Southern Illinois
vs. Eastern Illinois (Neutral)
vs. Kansas City (Neutral)
Rio Grande Rivalry – Game 1
at New Mexico – Sept. 16
Tulsa Volleyball Invitational (Tulsa, OK – Sept. 19–20)

vs. Little Rock (Neutral)
vs. Oral Roberts (Neutral)
Conference USA Road Matches
at Delaware – Sept. 26 & 27
at Missouri State – Oct. 17 & 18
at LA Tech – Oct. 31 & Nov. 1

POSTSEASON

Top 8 CUSA teams qualify
Winner earns automatic NCAA Tournament bid
With the quirk in scheduling, look for the Aggies volleyball team to be projected slightly higher in the polls simply because of the favorable schedule. We shall see how it goes for this team this year. Full previews coming soon.
Below is the full schedule as provided by NMSU not all chopped up like I did :)
Women’s Basketball CUSA Schedule Drops (or so I thought) + What That Means for Aggies Men’s Hoops
Note: As of publishing this, the NM State WBB had deleted the tweet with the schedule.
Here’s the tweet below minus the dates. 1000 of you saw it online, but since it disappeared as fast as is went, I will not post it in full.
Nice to know I have to deduce that myself. :)
Coach Jody Adams is back, Sans Molly Kaiser, but loaded up with a lot of new talent and returning excellent players for the 2025-26 season.
The schedule consists of 9 home games and 9 away games. With the new 18 game conference schedule, this means that there are 3 teams that the Aggies will only play 1x this season in a home matchup and 3 teams they will play 1x in a road game.
Who? Well, I can’t tell you yet haha.
That’s from Nick Coppola’s Retweet.
So, people have seen it, it is likely on the social media groups and that message board, but yeah, we can’t talk about it.
UTEP is on there. I am not violating anything by saying that. So is Liberty and Powerhouse MTSU. Aggies will play the Blue Hens of Delaware for the first time. Where and when? I can no longer tell you.
Missouri State? Bear Down, because the Aggies will play them in a conference matchup either at home or on the road. I mean, I know when, but apparently it wasn’t supposed to be out yet. Haha.
Long story short, 4000 people read this column, and I had it for you, until NM State WBB decided that we shouldn’t have it for you. My apologies on having to s-can this whole section of my column. Communicate, People!
NM State MBB Rumor
I was going to point out as Nick did that the men’s schedule is the inverse of the women’s in CUSA, so it was likely you could have penciled in the dates you will be with me at Pan Am, but we will have to wait on that a tad.
In the meantime, a couple sources close to NMSU in the spring and this summer mentioned to me that there is a possibility of a few MEN’S games tipping off at 2pm, similar to the women’s basketball matchups in Pan Am.
No confirmation of this as of yet, but one 2pm possibility was a conference opener, which might be before the holiday break. Again, no exact info as of yet.
There has been times in the last couple years where there were a couple 4pm tip-offs on a Saturday at Pan Am, most notably the 2024 season finale against FIU and the 2025 season finale against WKU.
Again, these are just unconfirmed reports now. If anything, it makes sense because that opens the possibility for another TV window to play in nationally on CBS Sports Network.
Plus for teams like…Say, Liberty or Delaware who have likely a 6+ hour flight back home, there’s a possibility of leaving town on Saturday night, making it back to campus late Saturday night/Early Sunday morning. That goes for NM State with 4PM ET tipoffs back east if applicable.
So, we will see when that schedule is released, and hopefully not pulled.
NMSU and CUSA will continue the Thursday-Saturday model
For me, I am fine with it.. Just means dinner after the game instead of before the game like an older person at an Early Bird Dinner.
Stay tuned!
Sorry about the chopped up column. I had a whole thing about the women’s schedule until I had to throw it all away. When it comes out officially, I will remark on this day again, and then give you all I got, as I wrote for an hour about it :)
Talk to you all soon with a FOOTBALL preview for Paid Subscribers
